Tuesday Lunch Bunch
The Tuesday Lunch Bunch is a group consisting primarily of retired men and women who meet on the third Tuesdays of each month (September through May) at the Church for Holy Eucharist, a catered lunch, and a guest speaker. The cost of lunch is $7. Although the group is mostly seasoned citizens, anyone is welcome to attend. Past speakers have included Bishop Hibbs, the recently retired Suffragan Bishop of West Texas, Cary Clack, columnist for the San Antonio Express-News, and Robert Flynn, professor emeritus of Trinity University, San Antonio, and noted author.
The April meeting typically is an all-day field trip via chartered bus to a nearby destination such as Austin or the Hill Country. This gathering usually takes place on the second Tuesday so as not to conflict with Fiesta events.
